We are expanding our team and have an immediate vacancy for an urban designer to join our award winning, multi-disciplinary team of urban designers, architects and planners.
We are an employee owned practice and work for a wide range of private and public clients on an eclectic mix of projects. These range from large scale masterplans, new settlements, urban extensions, estate regeneration projects, and complex mixed use/ commercial proposals down to smaller scale arts, community and sports related developments.

Recent recognition includes winner of New London Architecture’s ‘New London Awards 2016’ for Somerleyton Road in the ‘Housing’ category and Hackney Wick Central in the ‘Masterplanning and Area Strategies’ category.
We are looking for a new team member with 2-5 years experience in urban design/masterplanning practice. You will be one of the following:
- a creative designer, talented in housing design with an understanding of different typologies, able to test capacities, come up with and illustrate compelling concepts (RIBA stage 1 and 2); or
- excellent at analysis, able to articulate urban design issues, produce design guidance and advice in written and graphic format.
You will preferably have a post graduate qualification in urban design and an architectural background. You should be skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, CAD and preferably also in hand drawing.
