Development Planning

Development planning is a core element of our planning work, both as an independent service and integrated within our multi-disciplinary approach to projects. We pride ourselves on being able to steer complex projects through the planning system efficiently, achieving positive consents for our clients, and helping to create successful places by making good development happen.

We’re a flexible and responsive team with a great breadth of expertise across a wide range of project scales and types. A particular focus in recent years has been on residential, mixed use and innovative workspace schemes.

We take a positive, design-led approach to all of our development planning work, helping clients and design teams to find inventive solutions rather than just quoting the rule book at them. We’re not just neutral facilitators - we take a view, firmly grounded in best practice and commercial reality, and our clients’ projects are better as a result.

We’re fully engaged in the Government’s efforts to reform the planning system. Our long-standing appreciation of the power of good design to unlock development, together with our focus on delivery, means we're very well placed to positively shape and drive the new agenda.
