Bourne Estate scheme given unanimous planning approval
A 75 unit mixed tenure scheme on the Bourne Estate in Camden has received planning approval this week.
The scheme creates two new blocks of housing that link and relate to existing Grade II Listed early 20th Century social housing blocks on the estate, and also includes significant new public realm and recreation facilities.
The project has been led by key multidisciplinary team members Tibbalds and KSA. Other team members include Matthew Lloyd Architects, Dally Henderson Landscape Architects Campbell Reith Engineers and TGA M&E Engineers. The team was procured by the London Borough of Camden through the HCA Panel.
The scheme is expected to start on site in Spring 2014.
