Brentford Lock West scheme wins NLA Award

The Brentford Lock West scheme is this year’s winner in the Residential category, of the NLA awards.

Proposals for this new mixed-use scheme were submitted by Tibbalds Planning and Urban Design on behalf of Isis Waterside Regeneration, working as part of a multidisciplinary team including Karakusevic Carson Architects, Duggan Morris & Riches Hawley Mikhail. Proposals overcame planning constraints and gained local community support.

Phase one comprises a collection of 150 one, two, three and four bedroom apartments and townhouses, together with commercial units. Detailed planning for was granted in June 2012. The first homes are due to be completed winter 2013.
