Hilary Satchwell reappointed as a Mayor's Design Advocate by the Mayor of London
Tibbalds director Hilary Satchwell has been reappointed as a Mayor's Design Advocate (MDA) by the Mayor of London. MDAs are a panel of independent built environment practitioners who support the Mayor's Good Growth by Design Programme.
Good Growth by Design is a programme to shape a better city by promoting design and place quality and inclusion in the built environment. The new cohort of MDAs has been appointed to take the programme into its next phase, working with the GLA group and a range of partner organisations.
As an MDA Hilary has supported the good growth programme in a range of areas including diversity within the built environment, young people and their role in the city, supporting research into social infrastructure and its role in social cohesion, and as part of the London Review Panel.
"I am really excited to be able to continue to take forward and support the key pillars of the Good Growth by Design Programme. The pandemic brought into focus a need to place even higher value on the quality and fairness of London's built environment, and of our homes, and this programme continues to reinforce the focus on people and positive outcomes in all the work we do."
