Lizzie Cowan now a licensed BREEAM Communities Assessor

Tibbalds is pleased to announce that Lizzie Cowan, Associate, is now a licensed BREEAM Communities Assessor. Lizzie is now licensed to undertake assessments and advise on the assessment methodology.

BREEAM Communities is an assessment method that provides a way to improve, measure and certify the sustainability of large scale development plans and embeds sustainable design into the masterplanning process. The scheme provides developers, local authorities and design teams with a framework for considering the sustainability issues and opportunities from the earliest stage of the masterplanning process.

Lizzie is a Senior Urban Designer and Associate with a background in architecture. Lizzie brings specialist expertise in environmental sustainability to the Tibbalds team, in addition to her urban design skills and practical experience in the crossover between urban design and planning.

Lizzie is also an accredited Code for Sustainable Homes assessor.
