Lizzie Cowan qualifies as BREEAM Communities Assessor

Tibbalds is pleased to announce that Lizzie Cowan, Associate, has qualified as a BREEAM Communities Assessor. Lizzie is now able to undertake assessments and advise on the assessment methodology.

BREEAM Communities is a new scheme from BREEAM which is designed to improve, measure and certify the social, economic and environmental sustainability of large-scale developments. The scheme provides developers, local authorities and design teams with a framework for considering the sustainability issues and opportunities from the earliest stage of the masterplanning process.

Lizzie is a Senior Urban Designer and Associate with a background in architecture. Lizzie brings specialist expertise in environmental sustainability to the Tibbalds team, in addition to her urban design skills and practical experience in the crossover between urban design and planning.

Lizzie is also an accredited Code for Sustainable Homes assessor.
