Lizzie Le Mare joins NLA Expert Panel

The NLA Expert Panels bring together leading experts from across the NLA membership to provide guidance on programme topics and research, offer thought leadership on design, development, and construction in London, and engage with new policies or consultations.

Addressing the need for high-quality, affordable housing is an ongoing challenge for London. The NLA housing programme serves as a key platform for discussion and innovation in housing design, delivery, and construction. It champions solutions that meet a wide range of needs — from student housing to later-living homes with flexible care, and from high-rise towers to small, complex sites and large-scale regeneration projects.

The panel will explore the critical issue of housing quality and quantity in London, examining how it remains the city’s most pressing challenge. They will also explore innovative approaches to housing design, delivery, and construction aimed at creating safe, affordable, and sustainable homes.
