Ponders End scheme granted planning, LB Enfield

London Borough of Enfield have granted planning consent for a residential scheme submitted by Tibbalds Planning and Urban Design, in the Ponders End area of the borough. The scheme incorporates 38 new affordable homes, within two terraces of housing. A new pedestrian-orientated residential street has been created, incorporating associated landscaping and amenity space, called Academy Street.

A variety of housing typologies are proposed, including family houses, maisonettes and apartments, encouraging a diverse and well-balanced residential neighbourhood.
