Shree Swaminarayan Temple redevelopment proposals receive approval, Golders Green

The redevelopment of the site for 20 residential units will provide significant funding for construction of a new Temple in Kingsbury, which Tibbalds secured planning permission for last year in LB Brent.

Tibbalds have worked closely with the Barnet planning officers to ensure a suitable, high quality scheme was developed for the site by architects Loates-Taylor Shannon.

The Temple community is thrilled that they will now be able to deliver their new facility in Kingsbury. The new Temple is better located for their members and will provide a host of benefits for the wider community.

The Temple praised Tibbalds Director Jennifer Ross and Senior Planner Joanna Leek saying; “On behalf of the Temple I thank you both for the superb work that you did both at Kingsbury and now Golders Green. Both applications had obstacles and in many respect were not policy compliant. You took advantage of every minute window of opportunity in remote sections of the policy and used these to our advantage.”
