The Old Dairy in Bloomsbury gains planning approval
Proposals for redevelopment of the Old Dairy site at Wakefield Street WC1 were granted planning approval, in a unanimous decision by LB Camden planning committee.
The proposals are designed by S333 Architecture and Urbanism, on behalf of WX Investments. The scheme comprises the redevelopment of redundant storage warehouse buildings to provide a mixed residential/commercial development in 2 blocks, comprising c1100 m2 of office space and 5 houses. Acting as planning consultant, Tibbalds have had involvement in the proposals from the outset, having undertaken the initial site analysis studies and provided continued planning advice throughout their evolution.
The scheme was a revision to a previous application and the Camden Councilors praised the design team for their efforts in creating high quality redevelopment proposal for this sensitive site.
