Tybalds Estate Regeneration shortlisted in World Architecture News Awards
The Tybalds Estate Regeneration project has been shortlisted in the Residential category of the WAN Awards 2013. The Awards recognise projects that respond to the challenge of accommodating a rising global population, whether high-density apartment blocks or multi-occupancy residences.
The Tybalds scheme makes clever use of underused spaces on a complex site in Central London, and is an exemplar project for delivering new high quality homes in London.
Tibbalds are the lead consultants for the project providing masterplanning and planning services and are leading the team which includes buildings by three architecture practices: Avanti Architects, Duggan Morris Architects and Mæ Architects. The landscape architect is Camlins.
The WAN Awards are the world’s largest Architectural Awards Programme. Judged by 317 International Judges, this year there were 1,379 Entries, from 72 Countries.
All winners and shortlisted entries can be viewed on their website.
The Tybalds Estate Regeneration was also recently selected as Overall Winner at NLA Awards 2013, as well as being selected as winner in the Masterplans and Mixed Use category.
