Tibbalds led projects have been shortlisted for NLA Awards 2013
A selection of projects led by Tibbalds Planning and Urban Design have been shortlisted for the New London Awards 2013.
Shortlisted projects in the Masterplans and Mixed-Use category include:
The Electric Quarter, Ponders End, EN3. Karakusevic Carson Architects for LB Enfield.
As part of a multi-disciplinary team working for Enfield Council Tibbalds has prepared and submitted an outline planning application for a major mixed use regeneration project in the heart of Ponders End.
Tybalds Estate Regeneration, WC1.
Avanti, Duggan Morris, Mae & Tibbalds Planning and Urban Design Ltd for LB Camden.
Tibbalds as lead consultant, provided masterplanning and planning services to a team including Avanti Architects, Duggan Morris Architects, Mæ Architects and Camlins landscape architects. New frontage development incorporating a clearer hierarchy of open spaces and streets will deliver much needed affordable homes for the Borough. The project was granted detailed planning permission by LB Camden’s Development Control Committtee.
Shortlisted projects in the Residential category include:
Brentford Lock West, TW8.
A new mixed-use scheme submitted by Tibbalds Planning and Urban Design for Isis Waterside Regeneration, working as part of a multidisciplinary team including Karakusevic Carson Architects, Duggan Morris & Riches Hawley Mikhail. Proposals overcame planning constraints and gained local community support. Phase one comprises a collection of 150 one, two, three and four bedroom apartments and townhouses, together with commercial units. Detailed planning for was granted in June 2012. The first homes are due to be completed winter 2013.
Bridport House, Hackney N1. Colville Estate Regeneration.
Karakusevic Carson Architects for LB Hackney.
Design of a new building to provide 41 socially rented affordable homes. The first wave of Council homes to be built by Hackney for 45 years.
Winners will be announced on 11th July 2013.
