Tibbalds presenting at TCPA Webinar - Securing healthy homes locally
Katja Stille, Director at Tibbalds, will be discussing the importance of providing healthy new homes, with examples from our work at Northstowe in Cambridgeshire, and a Design Guide and Code for Bradford, as part of our commitment to the Healthy Homes Pledge.
Tibbalds is proud to sign up and support the Town and Country Planning association’s (TCPA) Healthy Homes Pledge.
The Healthy Homes Pledge initiative is important because Healthy homes radically reduce costs not only to people, but also to the NHS and to wider society. Our home should provide a safe haven and space for rest and recreation, as well as for work and study. Everyone has a right to a healthy, affordable and secure home in a healthy environment.
The TCPA has produced a technical guide which explains in detail why and how the Healthy Homes Principles can be applied in local policy and practice.
This webinar will share some of the highlights from the guide. It outlines some of the approaches adopted by different local authorities and practices including Tibbalds about the ways we are promoting Healthy Homes and communities locally.
Katja is looking forward to joining: Rosalie Callway - TCPA and Sally Roscoe - TCPA, Jennifer Dudley - BRE, Emily O’Brien and Nathan Haffenden - Lewes District Council
The webinar will take place on 24th September, between 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm.
