Tibbalds projects shortlisted for NLA Awards 2014
Tibbalds Planning and Urban Design have been involved in three projects shortlisted for the New London Awards 2014.
A shortlist of over 140 projects across 15 categories has been selected out of the hundreds submitted, recognising the very best in architecture, planning and development in the capital.
Canada Water, SE16 has been shortlisted in the Masterplans and Area Strategies category.
The scheme involves the delivery of up to 1,030 mixed tenure homes, new town centre retail, cinema, office and health uses, a new town park, play spaces and waterside promenade.
Tibbalds provided strategic planning advice, which involved input into the Canada Water Area Action Plan, development of the planning strategy and the co-ordination of and the delivery of a ‘hybrid’ planning permission.

The Faircharm Trading Estate, SE8 has been shortlisted in the Mixed-Use category.
Regeneration of the Faircharm industrial estate in Deptford involving the retention and refurbishment of existing buildings and the construction of new buildings to provide some 7,000sqm of raw, flexible commercial space suitable for a mix of artists and creative industries and 148 mixed tenure homes in two retained/ refurbished buildings and four new buildings.
Tibbalds provided input into the planning strategy and co-ordinated the submission of a detailed planning application. Planning consent was granted in May 2013.

Colville Phase 3, N1 has been shortlisted in the Housing category.
Tibbalds were appointed as part of a multi-disciplinary team to prepare a masterplan and secure outline planning permission for the regeneration of the Colville Estate.
Following outline approval , Tibbalds has been working with KCA on the delivery of reserved matters consents in relation to the various phases that comprise the master plan.
Phase 3 of the development involves the delivery of two significant new residential towers.
Tibbalds co-ordinated the submission of the detailed planning in relation to this element of the project.
