Westbury Estate Phase 2 - unanimous resolution to grant approval by Planning Committee
We are pleased to announce that Homes for Lambeth's (HFL) proposals for Phase 2 of the Westbury Estate have been given unanimous resolution to grant approval at Lambeth Council’s Planning Committee.
This is the first phase of the Outline Planning Application that Tibbalds took through planning in recent years. We have now provided the Council with details of the proposed landscape and appearance and layout of 4 buildings.
Phase 2 includes 124 new homes that will be warmer, greener and safer, a new street, communal and public gardens including new trees and improved shared outdoor spaces for all residents. Completed development is keenly awaited by a number of residents.
The Westbury development as a whole seeks to build 270 new and replacement homes, supporting an overall mix within the application site area of 50% affordable homes and delivering the first new council homes for a generation.
