Neighbourhood planning

Giving people the power to become active agents of change in their own area results in the development of places which are of greater meaning and benefit to those who use them. We help communities to take control of their future – using our expertise in policy and strategy to lead the production of neighbourhood plans and supporting policies, which guide the right types of development in the right places.

Through thorough research and engagement on the ground, we identify where changes are needed, and how improvements can be actioned. Working directly with communities – the people who know and love an area – makes for plans which are far more deeply embedded in the individual character of a place. It also requires a unique approach, which pushes the boundaries of planning and embraces more unusual and inventive responses to challenges.
